The Knight Chess Academy (KCA) is thrilled to announce the outstanding performance of our students in the 12th National Schools U-7 Open Chess Championship 2024. Their remarkable achievements reflect not only their talent but also the dedication and support they have received from their families and our academy.

Adhrit Medda:

  • Position: 8th

Adhrit Medda embarked on his chess journey 367 days ago at our academy in Kasba, starting from the basics of chess. Despite being only 7 years old, Adhrit dedicated his entire day to chess training, channeling every ounce of his energy into honing his skills. His determination is particularly noteworthy given the challenges he faced in 2023, including bouts of illness that landed him in the hospital. Nevertheless, Adhrit's resolve remained unyielding, propelling him forward on his quest for excellence.

Adhrit's parents have been a constant source of support throughout his journey, displaying unwavering dedication and encouragement. Their belief in Adhrit's potential has been instrumental in his progress and success. As Adhrit completes his first year with chess, he commemorates a significant milestone in his chess career, marked by his stellar performance in the 12th National Schools U-7 Open Chess Championship.
